Vintage Folklore Nursery

Vintage Folklore Nursery // Baby Girl Nursery Inspiration & nursery decor

We recently did a few updates to Ellie’s nursery (see her previous nursery here) and I am so excited to show you her new room! We worked with Walls Need Love to create a featured wall with their “Jackalope” wallpaper.  I am absolutely thrilled with the way that it came out and it only took me less than 2 hours to complete. I love the way that it stands out in the room and creates a focal point. Now the problem is that I want to create a focal point with wallpaper in every one of our rooms! You can get really creative with the wallpaper as well. I am using the left over wallpaper to line some of the drawers in the girls bathroom. We also plan to wallpaper our fridge! Think outside of the box, I am sure you can think of a few fun projects you could create with this wallpaper!

You can use code: LYNZY20 for 20% off your purchase of $30 or more until August 9th.

So many of you have asked about Liv & Ellie’s screen doors. We wanted to create a barrier between the cats and the girls’ rooms, so we added these screen doors to each of their rooms so that we can keep their doors open without the cats going in. I don’t so much mind the cats going in when they are older, it’s just when they were/are babies. I was always afraid that the cat would want to snuggle with the baby while they were sleeping…..

  1. Love the vintage color theme. It has neutral colors with a hint of pink here and there. I love the wicker dresser.

  2. Wow what a neat way to decorate a nursery, it isn’t very often I see decor like this. I am in love with the idea of using vintage folklore to decorate a baby nursery. You did a fantastic job!

  3. it’s fun to see wallpaper is making a comeback with these statement walls, and I think the jackalope print is just too cute and fun!
Now my real question is, how easy will it be to remove?

  4. OMG! This is such a cute room! I love how the the colors seems to work with each other you can you and splashes of brightness make the room pop. It has a really soft and cozy feel to it. I know any little one would love to be in a room like that.

  5. That is so beautiful. What a gorgeous nursery. We’ve never really done one for our kids as we co-sleep and then when they are bigger they go and share rooms but this is a room I’d love for a nursery for sure!

  6. How pretty. I like that it will grow with her so well. No need to update in a year or two but instead add splashes of her favorite color and it transitions so well.

  7. Oh my goodness this is a beautiful nursery- I love that it is gender neutral. That big heart pillow is too cute and would look great in my media room.

  8. The vintage folklore nursery is just gorgeous. I love the wicker dresser and the screen door idea as well. What an amazing job you did on the nursery. Thanks for sharing this gorgeous room.

  9. Where did you get the screen door? Also, how tall is the tree? I can’t decide which size is appropriate. I love this look and want to add it to our little girls room. Trying to decorate our first nursery and I am definitely NOT a designer.

  10. Did you say wallpaper a fridge!???! 😮 Omg please post pics of that! And the screen doors are not only gorgeous but genius for the bedroom! Love!
