Another nursery design this morning! Yay!
Seeing the way that other mamas put their nurseries together is so inspiring to me. I really love the soft gray, black and white palette of this modern nursery! Read on to see how Chelsea put this room together and the sources are at the bottom of the post! 🙂

What was your inspiration for this nursery design?
Shapes and letters with a splash of color. I really wanted a room that would stimulate my sons growing brain!
Describe the process of putting the nursery together. Did you renovate/paint beforehand? Were there any DIY projects involved?
This nursery was actually somewhat difficult. Not being able to see a product in person before committing to having it in the room is honestly terrifying. I just kept thinking, what if it all doesn’t go together? What if it doesn’t flow? But my interior design skills blossomed and I somehow created this room I will always be obsessed with. I was patient with my choices and I think that had a lot to do with it. It took about two months to complete mainly because I was waiting on products to be shipped in and some took longer than others. It also took me at least a month to find all of the things I wanted for it. My husband built the dresser, shelves, frames and wooden toy cart. And I made the black felt bunting banner next to the dresser. All of this actually inspired my husband and I to get super creative and we decided to start our own wood shop so stay tuned for that! The wallpaper was super easy to put up. We hung ten sheets in just about an hour which I thought was pretty good! Everything else was added as it came and eventually the room came to life.
