This post is written in collaboration with Bare Necessities & ShopStyle. Thank you so much for supporting the brands that I love working with!
It’s my favorite time of year again, where we can cuddle up in our matching holiday family pajamas and cozy up by the fire! There truly is nothing better than settling into the cold winter and drinking some hot cocoa inside! Today I will be sharing our holiday bucket list, which is just a little reminder of the fun things I want to do with the kids throughout the busy season. Between work and friend/family events, this season can really get away from us and I use this bucket list to remind myself that these things are most important! The pajamas you see in today’s post are from Bare Necessities and they have quite a few holiday pajamas to choose from! I chose the Karen Neuburger Ski Patrol set because I just thought the Ho Ho Ho and Fa La La were so cute!
Holiday Family Pajamas & Holiday Bucket List
The pajamas run true to size for both the adults & the kids! We always wear matching pajamas for our annual Polar Express trip and Christmas Eve! Do you and your family participate in the matching pajamas trend too?! Let me know below!
As I mentioned earlier, this bucket list will remain on our fridge as a reminder to slow down for the season and do the things we really love! Some of these are traditions I had as a child and some are just some fun activities that are great to do with children during the holiday season. There is also a printable for YOU to create your own holiday bucket list HERE or you can click on the printable below to print it out at home! I would love to see your bucket list so print one out and tag me on your IG stories once you do it! Have your kids get involved as well and have them write down what they want to do! Better yet, use a chore chart and tell them that they get to each choose a fun activity if they do their chores for the week. Win-win!
Holiday Bucket List
1.) Bake Christmas Cookies
2.) Take the Polar Express train in our matching family pajamas!
3.) Create donation boxes to bring to an adopted family this holiday season
4.) Decorate a gingerbread house
5.) Drive around town with hot cocoa and look at all the Christmas lights – then vote on our favorite houses!
6.) Read a holiday story every night leading up to Christmas
7.) DIY holiday gifts
8.) Have a day where we just do holiday crafts
9.) Take the sleigh ride into the woods and sing Christmas carols by the fire outside (one of my faves)
10.) Have a sleepover with friends and watch a holiday movie (moms & kids)
