Kids Lunch Ideas | Week of 9.24

I didn’t get my act together for lunches until this year. Granted my kids are not in Kindergarten or grade school yet but they do attend pre school a few days a week and I am the world’s WORST food prepper. I am vowing to do better this year so here’s to hoping! Ha! I documented their lunches last week so I could save them all to a blog post for you all (and for myself to look back at)! If you have any go-to healthy lunches that you love to give your kids, leave them in the comments below! 🙂

Kids Lunch Ideas | Week of 9.24

Motherhood blogger, Lynzy & Co. talks about kids lunch ideas for the week of 9.24.2018! Healthy lunch options for every day of the week!

Day ONE

Shredded rotisserie chicken (my best friend – from the grocery store), buttered pasta, carrots with hummus, goldfish, & grapes (I will cut these up until my kids are 18 and out of my house – hahahaha)

Day TWO

Cheese quesadilla on a spinach wrap, leftover turkey meatballs, apples, raisins, cucumbers and surprise Joe-Joes (from trader joes) for my oldests birthday

Day THREE

Pita bread with hummus, blueberries, cranberries, and red bell pepper

Day FOUR

Hard boiled eggs, cheese stick, pretzels, clementines, roasted chickpeas, & blackberries

Day FIVE

Sunflower seed butter sandwiches, snap peas and zucchini with avocado ranch, greek yogurt

It has helped me so much to plan out their lunches on Sunday and write them on our chalkboard. I just check it first thing in the morning and put it all together. No thinking necessary 🙂

Their trays do not leak at all and I purchased them here on Amazon! My friend Amber also has some awesome lunch post ideas here

  1. Thank you for the ideas!! I have No ideas at all! Im getting better at packig good heakthy lunches but it is Taking me some time.

  2. Great ideas! My kindergartener would literally eat the same thing everyday (Pb&j, fruit, yogurt, almonds with chocolate chips) but my preschooler has more DISCERNING tastes 🙂 current fave is basically a diy LUNCHAble. Salami slices, turkey rolled up and stuck on a toothpick, cheese stick, crackers, then fruit or yogurt side.

  3. LOVE THESE IDEAS! MAY I JUST ASK IF YOU MADE THE CHICKPEAKS? IF SO…HOW HAHA AND IS THAT WHEAT PASTA? JUST MIXED WITH BUTTER? THANKS MAMA!!!!!
