Holiday Style with Keds

This post is brought to you by Keds for kate spade new york. Thank you so much for supporting the brands that make this blog possible!

Sometimes it’s important to act like a kid. Take in every moment for what it is worth and appreciate all those small things that we often take for granted. Spin around in tutus, jump until you feel sick and giggle about silly things. My children bring out the best of me and they always do it at my highest points of stress, God bless them for that! This time of year is always insanely busy but I am constantly reminded of the importance of taking a minute to breath and appreciate my family. The girls and I thought it would be fun to wear some fun tutus and dresses for this campaign with Keds for kate spade new york and dance around in our glitter shoes during the first snow. Don’t worry, we were only outside for maybe 5 minutes because BRRRRR it’s cold outside!

The first time I saw these Keds for kate spade new york was at my friend Kate’s wedding! She wore them for dancing with her wedding dress and I remember asking her, “OMG, where did you get those?! They are so cute!” Her response being “KEDS FOR KATE SPADE” and my mind was blown. Fast forward a few weeks when an email comes through my inbox asking if I would like to partner with them! My girls were ECSTATIC because what little girl doesn’t love a pair of glitter shoes? Especially during the holiday season?!

These shoes are now their go-to and they wear them with everything! They have so many different glitter options. I chose the ones with just the hint of glitter in the back for myself. I love that they are mostly neutral but also have a party vibe to them, too! They would also look adorable with a pair of denim and a white tee!

So, I want to encourage you today…..

Take a few minutes out of your day (at least 20) to play with your kids with your full attention. Get lost in creative play. Run around like a monster. Pretend you’re a princess. It will change your outlook for the entire day, I promise 😉
