This post is written in collaboration with Walmart. Thank you so much for supporting the brands that I love working with!
One of my favorite things to do is changing up my children’s bedrooms with the changing seasons/holidays. I switch out a few pieces of decor, bedding and the books to correspond with the current season we are in. My 5 year old and 3 year old are currently in separate bedrooms since my oldest was sleeping a bit better with that and my 3 year old loves to sleep in! Eventually though, they will bunk together. Today, I am showing you how I added a bit of holiday cheer to my 5 year olds bedroom. This is also the bedroom we use for guests (and my 5 year old will then sleep in her sister’s room)!

The first item I added into her bedroom this year was this adorable skinny tree! This tree is so skinny that it will fit into ANY space which is why I love it so much! It’s also only $25 which makes it that much more cute 😉 Just takes a little bit of fluffing and it fills this spot next to her bed so well! They also have one that is a bit bigger here!
Her duvet cover and shams are from Walmart. I love that subtle ruffle on the hem, it’s so romantic and feminine! I love switching out their bedding to a duvet cover in the winter so that they are a bit warmer than with their summer quilts! You can also get thinner duvets and use them year round if you wish!
My 5 year old has had those fairy lights strung along the headboard for 2 years now. She loves having the soft glow while she is sleeping!
Last item I added was this cute little needlepoint tree pillow! Super simple but I love that it pulls in some more pink!
I get a TON of questions about this bed frame and I found a nearly identical one on Walmart’s website for $143 in the queen size and it has GREAT reviews! I love how simple it is but yet looks vintage at the same time!
