If you asked me 4 weeks ago if we would have this nursery ready for baby squishs’ arrival, I would have said, NO CHANCE. By some form of a miracle, I was able to get everything together and ready for our little one’s arrival. The crazy nesting mode I have been in lately definitely helped me to achieve the end result. Plus, my hubby has been extremely helpful and willing to do everything I have asked of him in the past few weeks 😉 He thinks that I am absolutely crazy with all of my to-do lists (ha!)

I worked very closely with Wendy on this room and I just love her Inspirations collection. There are so many gender neutral options and ways that you can mis & match everything to create the exact design that you dreamt of. Since we don’t know if squish is a boy or girl, we went with the morning mist grey. The gray is so subtle and beautiful. I love how it ties in with everything else in the room.

One of my favorite parts of this room are the window treatments. There are over 130 designer fabrics to choose from! She created this line with Smith & Noble to pull the nursery together with a variety of solids and patterns to choose from. These all coordinate with her bedding options so that you can mix and match the patterns/solids you want. You can also order coordinating pillows and fabric yardage to coordinate the complete look. Best part? The window treatments can be ordered in a cordless option – which is one of the reasons I love them. They are safe for our little ones! The roller blinds that we have are such great quality and now I want them for every window in our new home! 😉

When it comes to a nursery glider, I am always SO torn. I love Olivia’s glider, but at a price of $550, I wasn’t willing to spend that again on another one. We still read to her in that glider every night so it will stay in her room. I came across Delta Children’s line of gliders and loved the color options (not to mention the amazing price!) I am so happy with this glider and cannot wait to nurse and read to baby squish in it!

We recently moved to Charlotte from Beaufort, SC for my husbands job and simply cannot afford new as we are paying for 3 properties. Our plan as of now is to transfer what we have for our first into the nursery. I cannot express how much this will mean to help make this special and unique to baby #2. Thank you for this oppurtunity and for sharing your beautiful taste I absolutely admire!

Also, my toddler has slept on plain white Jersey sheets her entire life. It would be nice for baby #2 to get some new bedding (because everything else she gets will be a hand-me-down).
