This post is written in collaboration with BORN Shoes. Thank you so much for supporting the brands I truly love!
Every woman should own a pair of comfortable black flats to throw on as she runs out the door. The type of shoe that you know can take the wear & tear but still look cute with any outfit. I have always been a sucker for a comfortable show and Born is really on their game when it comes to comfort. These cute little black flats are perfect for spring & summer and the comfort level is amazing. They come in 5 different colors and they are even great for traveling – lightweight and would easily fit into your suitcase.
Comfortable Black Flats & Life Updates
These are the pair of shoes that you want to take with you on a trip to Europe – tried and true style that you KNOW will be comfortable when you’re walking miles through Austria 😉 They run TTS and I am wearing my normal size. I was a bit nervous that the fabric on top would be uncomfortable at first but they feel like a pair of shoes that you’ve broken in for years when they are on – love them! Best part? For every pair of these shoes sold in March (along with a few other styles featured on the Børn website HERE, 15% of the purchase price will be donated to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital (up to $10,000)!
Fun Facts as of Recently
Daylight savings has been a HUGE blessing for our family this year. As many of you know, Miles was giving us a run for our money – getting up at all hours from 445 am – 530 am for MONTHS. Since daylight savings, I am HAPPY to report that he is sleeping 7:15 pm until 6:30, sometimes 7:00 am. MIRACLES DO HAPPEN. Now that I’ve told the world about it, I am sure he will go back to his old ways (eye roll). Only time will tell.
Orange Theory is starting to kick my butt again, holy smokes. The workouts have definitely increased in intensity and I am FEELING it. I am starting the ab rehab program with Nancy Anderson again this week and plan to stick to that for the next 8 weeks again! H I finished 4.5 weeks of it in Jan but I am going to start from the beginning because I feel like I went back to my old breathing habits and need to start from scratch.
My garage door only opened 3/4 of the way last week and I took off the bottom part of it which was SUPER fun, as I am sure you can imagine. I prefer my garage doors to have missing bottom panels anyways. It’s fine.
I sign my oldest up for Kindergarten next week and all of a sudden I have a million emotions. Sad, excited, anxious……
I am debating signing my kids up for the infant aquatic survival classes where they go for 10 minutes a day/4 days a week for 4-6 weeks. It’s a HUGE time commitment but one that I think is necessary since we have tried quite a few leisure swim classes and they haven’t really gotten anything out of them….
