Black Pull-On Pants That You’ll Never Want to Take Off

This post is sponsored by Express and ShopStyle. Thank you for supporting the brands that I love!

For those of you looking for the PERFECT pair of black pull-on pants, look no further! I frequently get requests for “work appropriate” wear and today’s post is for YOU! Express really does have the cutest work wear and I am really LOVING these pants. I feel like I am wearing a pair of high waisted leggings but they’re also work appropriate – win! The fabric hugs against your body for the entire day and they really are the best pair of black pants I’ve ever tried on.

You could absolutely dress these pants down as well as up! If you are heading into work, pair them with a heel and fancy shirt. Once you head out for happy hour, change into a tank and a pair of simple flat sandals or even wedges to play them down a bit! These simple leopard flats would look great!

The PANTS are currently BUY 1, Get 1 50% off so I am linking up a few of my favorites – the camo legging and these paperbag pants!

SIZING INFO ON PANTS: These pants run pretty TTS. I am wearing XS and they’re a pull-on style. They slide right on and they hold their fit all day which is important with this style pant. Overall, I am really, really impressed with the quality and these are definitely a staple for a working mama’s wardrobe.  As far as length, I am 5’5 and they are the perfect fit to wear with a 2.5-3 inch heel! They would be great if you’re shorter with a bigger heel too! The website shows the pants modeled on two different size models which I love!

I paired them with this simple silk tee and the cutest cheetah heeled mules. Just a tiny bit of heel without being too dramatic – love them! They fit slightly small, if you are unsure, size up!

These pants are definitely NOT reserved for only those that work! I would definitely wear these out on a date night or with the girls! There are so many different ways you could wear these!

Taking Risks

Almost 10 years ago I decided to start a blog. Little did I know that it would be one of the most important and life changing decisions of my life. As many of you know, I went to school to be a PA (Physician Assistant). A job I love more than anything and still work at today. As a creative outlet to a high stress full time job, I created a blog. I worked on it here and there for the first few years and then almost daily, taking big risks here and there when it came to approaching companies to work alongside them. Taking risks has been the name of the game when it comes to blogging and I have had to step out of my comfort zone more times than I can count. One of the most popular questions I am asked is ” What is one piece of advice you would give to someone starting out with a blog?” My response is always to FOLLOW YOUR OWN PATH. Don’t look to others for comparison. Do YOU and share what you truly want to share – no matter what it is! Authenticity will win every single TIME. Do not compare. One quote that I absolutely love and really sums up how I feel when it comes to blogging is….

“Comparison is the thief of joy”

You will never be able to find happiness if you are always looking at the other side of the fence.

For this photo shoot I went back to what I used to do back in the beginning days of blogging, went to a few different locations to really shoot some looks. I had a BLAST and really think that stepping out of that comfort zone now and again is so good for the soul. These pants were a huge confidence booster too which helped 😉
