Baby Bump Update // 29 weeks

This motherhood blogger is showcasing her maternity style in this non-maternity dress that can work for before and after pregnancy!

(Outfit Details)   NON maternity ruched dress – I got a size medium (typically I would wear small)
Amazing wide brim hat (I may be a tad bit obsessed with this hat, my favorite one I’ve ever purchased)
Sneakers – super comfy and all I have been wearing
Handbag thanks to The Sak

Size: Baby is the size of butternut squash and wearing in at about 2.5 pounds (I think more in my opinion) 😉

** I was diagnosed with anemia at my last visit which means I need to go for growth ultrasounds every 2 weeks. I had to do the same thing with Ellie and I think it’s hilarious because they are worried about babies not weighing enough when the mother is anemic and Ellie came out weighing 8.13 🙂 My first ultrasound is in 1.5 weeks and I will keep you all updated 🙂

Glucose test update: Okay, I have a bunch of you asking about this since I had it all over my IG stories a few weeks ago! So, I convinced them to let me do the jelly beans instead of the awful drink. I had to order these Brach jelly beans – they were only available online because of the time of year! I had to eat 28 of them to equal the amount of glucose that is in the drinks. I passed – thank goodness!

Weight gained: I am at a steady 149 pounds at this point! Gained a few pounds in the past few weeks thanks to the amazing grub that they have down in Savannah Georgia 😉

Symptoms: REFLUX beyond belief and it doesn’t help that I keep craving grapes because they make it SO much worse! My leg is worse and worse every day but I am a broken record with that so I will leave it alone…. 🙂

**Someone recently told me that pumpkin seeds help a lot with reflux! I will be trying this over the next few weeks and I will let you know if it helps me!

Healthy Eating Update: I fell off the bandwagon in Savannah :/ but I am slowly trying to get back into it! I have been great about working out (running, walking, kickboxing and yoga) but I need to make healthier choices again! My favorite go-to snacks are almonds and dried cranberries, any fruit, and carrots and hummus. A few of you asked about lunch and for me, that is ALWAYS a tough one! I love making salads, having a hummus, veggie, cheese, fruit plate, and a quick and easy wrap!

Favorite wardrobe piece to wear right now: My favorite thing to wear right now is this comfy sweatshirt (because it’s been chilly and raining) and this gorgeous maternity dress

Boy or girl?   We didn’t find out! You’ll just have to wait along with us to find out 😉
Did you bank cord blood with your babies? We did not! We looked into it and researched it but ultimately chose to do “delayed cord clamping” instead! Make sure to research all of your options and decide on what would be best for your family & baby 🙂
1 thing I plan to do for myself this week: I went to pre-natal yoga last night! It can be so hard to get there since it’s 20 minutes away from our house but I always feel so great, mentally after going! Plus, the stretching is something I NEVER do and I should because it makes me feel like a million dollars afterwards!

Food cravings: Cotton candy grapes (yes, these exist), watermelon and strawberries!
Currently working on: I am working on implementing my photography tips and tricks (with a DSLR and iPhone) in my newsletter! This special section of my newsletter will be for subscribers only so if you aren’t already subscribed, you should do it ASAP! 😉   I will only be sending out an email every 1-2 weeks!
