This post today is sponsored by one of my favorite mama brands, Kindred Braverly. Thank you so much for supporting the brands that I truly love.
I recently attempted to drop that overnight feeding that we have been clinging to but thanks to the HFM virus, I got my baby back during the overnights 😉 As many of you know, I wanted to drop it because he was starting to wake up ALL hours of the night looking to nurse and he is at the age now where it becomes VERY hard to break bad habits so I decided it was definitely time to let that overnight feeding go but it was VERY emotional for me. It sparked today’s post which will talk about 4 reasons why you should start loving that 3 AM nursing session. I hope that it encourages those of you who are feeling overwhelmed by the constant wake ups each evening and allows you to feel like you are part of a community. The 3 AM community that many mamas would absolutely love to go back to!
Before I dive into today’s post, I wanted to chat with you a little bit about Kindred Bravely (see a brief try on session in my stories today to see them in action)! I have been a HUGE fan of this brand ever since I was pregnant with my first and a close friend actually mentioned how much she loved them. My favorite set (although hard to choose) is the Davy set that I am wearing here in these photographs. It’s insanely comfortable, great for a pregnant belly and for nursing and look cute on too! They come in a ton of other colors and they even gave me a coupon code for you to use as well! During the first 6 weeks or so, you are supposed to wear a wire free bra so that your breasts can adjust accordingly for your milk supply. I have found that this nursing & sleep bra has been amazing for that! It’s so comfortable and gives you the support you need! Other favorites of mine are listed below along with the coupon code!

4 Reasons Why You Should Start Loving That 3 AM Nursing Session
1.) The quietness of the night is the most peaceful you’ll be all day // I have come to realize that it is within this moment that I am most at peace. It’s quiet and still and as a mom to three kids 4 and under, this sound is quite welcoming 🙂
2.) One on one time // If you are a mama to more than one child, you know that most nursing sessions include 1 or more little ones screaming around you. This overnight feeding has been great one on one time with my little man when his sisters aren’t screaming around him.
3.) He’s completely still // This little man is the busiest of my three. He is constantly trying to break free and get into trouble but this overnight feeding is different. His whole body relaxes and falls into mine and you can tell he finds comfort in falling back asleep during this feed. This is the number one reason why this feeding was SO hard for me to give up.
4.) Comfort // Being able to comfort your baby in the best way you know how is something that I think every mother feels an instinct to do. I almost think it’s comforting on both ends, both your baby and your own. As tired as I am some days, I will forever miss these nursing sessions when they are over…..
