We recently had the opportunity to take one of the best trips to Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park™ Camp Resort in Gardiner NY and it was beyond what I ever imagined. The best part about this trip was that it was camping but with all the luxuries you would typically have within a hotel like a kitchen, bathroom & AC! Our cabin was HUGE with a master bedroom in the back leading into a large bathroom and then a full kitchen. There was plenty of room for a pack n play along with a pull out futon that was in the front of the cabin. There was also a loft with two beds as well! Plenty of places to sleep and we were able to nap the girls and put them to bed earlier, while still having our quality time, which was amazing!

This camp resort had so many great options for kids including a splash pad/waterpark, pool, mini golf course, arts & crafts, playgrounds, and tons of other activities that were planned throughout the day. Each weekend throughout the summer has a theme and their activities are based off of that theme. Olivia was so ecstatic when we got there that she hardly slept that night in anticipation of all the fun that was to be had the next day….
We also rented a golf cart that provided a great way for us to get to point A to point B but it’s definitely not necessary! Everything is within walking distance! A lot of families brought bikes for their kids and a ton of outdoor toys since there is a ton of space to do almost anything! Our cabin was situated right on the baseball field and this field was HUGE. The backyard of the cabin had plenty of space for the girls to run around on and we even had our own little picnic table and charcoal grill! You can even rent out a hot tub for your own cabin too!
They had a great little place to get drinks and food during the day next to the pool so that’s where we got lunch since we didn’t come prepared to BBQ. The food was great and the girls loved their homemade lemonade! They also have a store where you can purchase anything else you may have forgotten which is great!
We are looking forward to planning a big trip there next summer with a few of our friends’ families and going as a huge group! We all have children now and I think it would be so fun to rent a bunch of cabins and all go together!
