We are making it a point to travel with the little ones more often and one of our goals is to visit as many national parks as we can! While we were in CA in February we visited Muir Woods and it was absolutely gorgeous. I love being able to bring the girls to national parks and show them how beautiful everything is when you are one on one with nature. While we were there we picked up little national park passports that the girls can stamp whenever we visit a new park. Olivia loves packing it with her in her suitcase in hopes of obtaining a new stamp for her book and some brand new experiences in new parks!
There are a few national parks that are high on our wish list and here are three of them!
Our National Park Visit Wish List
1.) Joshua Tree National Park: This one has been on my bucket list for YEARS and I cannot get over how absolutely breathtaking the scenery is. I cannot wait to be able to see it with my own eyes and take it all in! My friend Geneva is always capturing the beauty of this area with such perfection!
2.) Yosemite National Park: Another park that has been on my bucket list for years now. I am thinking that a trip to California to just drive up and down the coast is in order 😉 What do you think? I can’t wait to take in the beauty of all of their gorgeous waterfalls!
3.) Acadia National Park: This one is over on our coast and it would be a national park we could get to by driving. I have heard wonderful things about it and would love to plan a road trip when the girls are a bit older!
I am partnering today with Yankee Candle spread awareness of their recent collaboration with Creative Action Network to celebrate the National Parks and help support the National Parks Conservation Association. They have a wide selection of new scents to help raise awareness and support our national parks and you can shop them all here! We were sent the Badlands National Park Candle and it smells like sage, cedar and patchouli. It has a very masculine scent and my husband loves it. When visiting a national park, you have memories that are automatically built in from your experience, help to relive them with the scents of the national parks that you visit!
