I can finally say that I feel better. The nausea has lifted for the most part and I finally feel like I am enjoying life again. Depression during pregnancy is a very REAL thing and not many talk about it. I am so happy to be through those darker days and looking forward to the bright ones that lay ahead! I wanted to publish a weekly bump update throughout this third pregnancy so today we will talk about what it’s like being 18 weeks with baby #3! I wear my Converse pretty much daily because they are so comfortable while being pregnant!

What Fruit are you? Baby is an artichoke this week! Weighing in at about 6.70 ounces and about 5.59 inches long!

Due date:  August 8th, 2017. Our first was two weeks early and our second was one DAY early. Any bets on this one?!

How far along:  18 weeks today!

Gender:  We won’t be finding out, but it will be fun for you to take some guesses! πŸ˜‰

Total weight gain/loss:  Up 11 lbs. I was down to 121 at the point (now 132) that I got pregnant this time around. I was still nursing at that time and weight always automatically comes back on when I stop. My husband makes me feel beautiful with more weight on me so I prefer my body this way πŸ™‚

Exercise: I am still doing kickboxing at least twice a week and I am trying to run 4 miles total a week (2 miles on two different days). So far this week I did 2 miles and one kickboxing class!

Stretch marks: No! I am a true believer that these are genetic and I am hoping that they stay away with this third one! I do however have AWFUL varicose veins on my left leg that extend, you know where.

Swelling: Not yet!

Maternity clothes: None yet! I like to stay away from them for as long as possible. I have however grabbed one pair of maternity denim because they are more comfortable. I am showing a lot quicker this time around!

Belly button: In for now, will probably be out next week! Ha!

Sleep: When the other two girls are sleeping, it’s pretty good!

Food cravings:  PICKLES. PICKLES. PICKLE JUICE. PICKLES.

Symptoms:  There’s some pressure from the varicose veins but overall this week is a good one for me and I haven’t been able to say that in 18 weeks so yay!

Movement: Yes! I’ve been feeling movement for a few weeks now! It’s much easier to feel the movements sooner than with the other two babes!

Best moment this week: Being able to feel “normal” again and being less nauseous!

Words of wisdom: If you are feeling like you’re in a tough spot, whether it’s nausea or emotional, hang tight mama. It’s going to get better. It always does <3

Amazing mama! Yes I got lucky with the stretch marks but the varicose veins are awwwful! I just gave birth to my second last week and I don’t even remember the veins the first time around. The second time oh dear, my legs were always super heavy and the varicose veins were actually painful. Luckily they seem to be going away.
Great post! Looking forward to following along on your 3rd pregnancy journey!
