Postpartum Skin

I’m sharing #Curél in my life as part of a sponsored series for Socialstars™. As always, thank you so much for supporting the brands that we truly love and that make this little ole’ blog possible.

I never experienced many skin issues throughout my life. Even during my teenage years, I never suffered more than the occasional pimple here and there. I feel blessed to be able to say that and I never knew how frustrating having a skin condition could be until I became pregnant with our first child. My arms suddenly began to itch and became red and inflamed. I started to realize that my legs were doing the same. It never became that bad while pregnant but the postpartum transition was when it decided to rear it’s ugly head. I’d never had eczema before and I couldn’t understand why I suddenly developed it. My first two children were also born with eczema (my first was worst than my second) and I have no idea if hormones could have been the culprit or not.

Thankfully it was at it’s worst during the postpartum period of our first and has calmed down with the other two little ones but I still constantly scratch myself in my sleep and itch my legs constantly at night. I have found that the one thing that definitely helps is keeping my skin as hydrated as possible. I had always known that putting on lotion right after a shower helped to lock the moisture in but when I heard about Curél® HYDRA THERAPY, I was so excited to try it out! Curél® HYDRA THERAPY is dermatologist recommended, fragrance free, and greaseless. Best of all is that it received the National Eczema Association Seal of Acceptance™, which was music to my ears! Send that baby right on down my way, I can’t wait to try it!

After you shower or bathe, it’s super simple, just apply Curél® HYDRA THERAPY right when you get out and let it absorb! I will be trying this product out over the next few days and I will be back to tell you all about my experience and if it’s helped my dry post-partum skin!

Have any of you ever tried Curél® HYDRA THERAPY?!

This post is really helpful, I can share this to my sisters ’cause she is having a baby. I suppose she gonna like this so much because she is worrying about post-partum skin a lot when she has baby. Thanks for your sharing!
