When we moved in here at nearly 9 months pregnant, I had no idea what we could accomplish in such little time. I had so many visions for this kitchen and they are all coming to life. We still have a few appliances to replace (the cook top and stove, which you will see in part two of the reveal) but I am SO happy with the way things are turning out in here!
The kitchen cabinets are original and VERY old, but we didn’t have the money to replace them so we had them repainted and changed out the hardware. I had a pretty difficult time finding an affordable farmhouse sink, but came across this one and absolutely love it so far. It’s been really durable and for the most part, was easy to put in (thanks to my dad!) My dad has helped us SO much with everything and it would be nothing without him. We ripped out ALL of that disgusting barn wood around the walls of the dining area and replaced it with bead board. We put molding around the wood beams to make them pop more as well. It definitely lightened everything right up!
Wilsonart makes this AMAZING laminate counter tops that resemble marble. This one was me favorite and I just knew that we needed it for our kitchen. We got a crescent edge to go with it and I love the way it came out.
Our delta faucet is the same one we had at the condo, but in a brass color (which I LOVE). It has the Touch2o technology which means I can just touch it to make it go on and off (pretty darn cool, huh?)
Stay tuned for part two, where I will show you the other corner of the kitchen (we have a little more painting to do) and the dining area!
