Our Life Lately Series: Post 1

I have had quite a few requests over on my snap chat for some blog posts that just talk about our life lately so I wanted to start incorporating these posts at least once a month to give you a little peek into what is currently going on in our life!

Obviously, being that it is December, our lives are a bit crazy & busy lately. Between working, Christmas festivities, wrapping gifts, and going the day-to-day dance, there isn’t much time for anything else. But I wouldn’t have it any other way! Olivia had her Christmas pageant at school last night and it was the cutest thing ever watching them up there singing and ringing their bells! I swear that one of my favorite parts about motherhood is watching them partake in events like this. It warms my heart <3

Our Life Lately

Our Life Lately

Poor little Ellie bear dislikes Santa just a tad 😉

We also went on the Polar Express this past weekend. I secretly think I love this more than the kids do! We always dress up in our pajamas and get all decked out. One of our friends rents out a whole trolley car and the kids dance up and down the train the whole time. Again, this is what motherhood dreams are made of.

Our Life Lately

Let’s see, what else? I am about to start a stretch of WAY too many days of work. 12 hour shifts are very much overrated and I barely get to the end of one without needing to sleep for the next two days. Maybe that’s a sign of my aging? :/

Oh, and we bought Olivia and Ellie the farmhouse kitchen set from Pottery Barn because I’ve been eyeing it for YEARS and I despise the kidkraft one we have now. They use the kitchen SO much and I know that this toy will get SO much use year after year and it will also be a great hand-me down for grandkids! So we pulled the trigger. Ryan is finally onto the last piece that he needs to build and then it will be ready for Xmas eve!!

I don’t mention these guys enough but here is Dante, one of our two rescue kitties and he snuggles with me ALL the time. He is the one you always see in my snaps 🙂

Oh! I also recently signed up for Thrive Market and I have been meaning to tell you guys all about it! So Thrive Market is basically this place where you can shop for Organic, healthy foods right from the comfort of your own home. Best part? They are cheaper than you would like pay if you WENT to the actual store! I have found this extremely helpful being a mother of 2 that can hardly get anywhere on a daily basis. They also offered to let me give you guys something for FREE just for signing up

Sooooo….

If you sign up here, you can get a free jar of coconut oil FOR FREE! Coconut oil can be used for SO many different things so I figured that would be the most fun for you guys! If you do sign up, I would love to know what you guys are currently ordering! I do make a small commission if you decide to sign up but they don’t pay me to speak on their behalf, I just love them that much! 🙂
