Finally! I’ve been promising Olivia’s toddler bedroom post for what seems like a year, but I could never get my act together! It took us ALMOST 4 years to put Olivia into a toddler bed, she just loved her crib so much! I am actually somewhat regretting the decision since she doesn’t sleep as well now but hey, it had to happen sometime! I am now thinking that in the next month or so we will upgrade her to the twin bed that we found at Brimfield Market this year because she needs more space! I cannot wait to set that bed up, it’s adorable! We added a little timer clock into her room so that she knows when it’s okay to get out of bed for naps and in the morning! This is the one we have been using and she loves it! She calls him “Slimer the timer” 😉
Olivia has always been a great sleeper and sleeps about 12 hours at night with a 2 hour nap during the day. Most recently she has been napping for about an hour and then gets up to read a bit so it appears that she will probably be dropping it soon. In which case, we will just have “quiet time” for an hour – hour and a half.
