Life with Winston

I’m sharing #Luvsome in my life as part of a Luvsome sponsored series for Socialstars™

My big boy is growing so fast. He’s now 7 months and I can’t believe that he was once this small! I won’t lie, it hasn’t been easy having a puppy around. In fact, I swear that it’s more work than a newborn. He gets in more trouble than I will ever admit and he still hasn’t made friends with the other furry occupants of the house, our two rescue kitties. Despite his puppy behavior, he has made a big impression on all of us and we love him dearly. He has a very special connection with our littlest, Ellie. They are the best of friends and it’s so beautiful watching them build their relationship.

Many have asked where we got him and he is from Germany through a breeder in Massachusetts. He was born on June 22 and he was about 3 months when we got him. He actually potty trained pretty easily, despite a few accidents here and there around 4-5 months. He successfully lasts about 10 hours at night before he needs to go back out. Hallelujah!

Making sure that he has a balanced diet filled with protein and vitamins is very important to us. We typically give him some of our food (meat and veggies) as well as Luvsome. Luvsome is a high quality brand that maintains a great price and you can shop for it while shopping for your own food! It can be found at the Kroger family of food stores: Food 4 Less, Fry’s, King Soopers, Kroger, Owen’s, Pay Less, Ralphs, & Smith’s!

Olivia wasn’t quite sure of him at first and she was actually quite scared of him because he would run after her to try and play. After a few months though, she has warmed up to him and loves telling him to sit, stay and gives him treats! 🙂

My husband was a K9 officer, so German Shepherds have a special place in our hearts. Winston is so handsome. My puppy recently passed away, so I will be taking a break from dogs for now, but when we’re ready I will definitely check out Luvsome.

Awww…Winston is the cutest! Our neighbors behind us have a German Shepherd…we have a chain link fence between us, so he feels like ours sometimes, too! I really like that these Luvsome treats are available at grocery stores…it’s nice to grab everything at one place!

These pics melt my heart! My dog despised my kids, lol! Most likely because he was never around kids, AND he was my “first” and on his own for years! It was frustrating to say the least, but now after 4 years with them he adores them!!!

Oh my your German shepherd pup is so cute! I have a German Shepherd mix and grew up with a different German Shepherd mix, needless to say, they are one of my favorite breeds. They are such smart dogs and I love the features of the breed as well. I love seeing them when they are little because they grow so fast and I hardly remember those days with my pup. I am sure your family will have many great memories with Winston over the years.

Winston is adorable and super photogenic. I grew up with a German Shepherd that looked just like him. They are great dogs and they really love their families. He is an adorable addition to the family.

I have always been afraid of dogs but yours looks so nice. He looks so loved by everybody in your house and that is so very important. I love your photos. You have such a beautiful family.
