There were bows EVERYWHERE the other day and I couldn’t take it anymore. I can never find them and when I do, it never matches their outfit (a pet peeve of mine, and YES I am clearly type A). I decided to throw together this little DIY project to display the bows in Ellie’s room right next to her changing table where I get her ready every morning! At the end of the day, it’s easy to put it right back where it belongs 😉
Let’s hope this solves the mystery of the lost bows!
What you need:
1,) An old repurposed frame // Pick one up at your local junkyard or antique shop. You can also paint it as well if you wanted to! This one was $8 and came as is!
2.) Velcro that is sticky on both sides // I picked up this two sided velcro at Walmart for $3.88 😉
3.) Ribbon // Whatever ribbon your heart desires!
5.) Not pictured // Hammer and hanging hardware
1.) Figure out how many rows you will want and adhere the velcro to the top and bottom of the frame as well as the top and bottom of the ribbon (that has been measured and cut appropriately)
2.) Adhere the ribbon to the frame and cut off any extra ribbon at the ends. I had just a small amount sticking out on the top and bottom so I trimmed them up!
3.) Add all your bows to the ribbon!
4.) Find the perfect spot for your artwork. I chose to put it right next to the changing table so that I can easily access the bows whenever I need to!
There you have it! A super quick DIY project for all those baby bows you have lying around! 😉
Have fun creating!
