I was very religious about working out in college and even did a few half marathons, 10k’s and 5k’s while I was in PA school. For me, it was a great way to help with my stress levels and believe it or not, climbing stairs at the gym while studying is VERY effective and productive for me. I can only concentrate when I am doing multiple things at once so I always studied while doing cardio. I ran my first full marathon in NYC 4 years ago and it was so much fun. Training however, was not. It was a gruesome four months and extremely time consuming so it’s not something I will ever have time for again but I am so glad I did it.

I tend to switch up my workout routine every now and again so that it works different muscles in my body and wards off boredom from the same workout every day. Last year, I had joined a gym and was doing gym workouts and body pump class. Most recently I joined a kickboxing class with one of my best friends and it’s the best thing I have done in years. I absolutely love it.

My current workout routine consists of kickboxing class about 3 times a week and a 3 mile run 1-2 times a week. Running always helps me clear my mind so I try to fit it in whenever possible. I usually try to fit my workouts in early morning at 6 am so that I am done before the kids wake up. In the winter, I hit the treadmill that we have in our basement so that I am not freezing and skating on ice outside. I always make sure to brew myself some coffee before my workouts because caffeine is life. If you’re a mother, you know what I am talking about 😉

Olivia always asks me “Mama, you worked out?” and I love that she realizes that it’s important to take care of our bodies. Even at age 3, it’s important for her to know that working out and eating healthy are things that we just automatically incorporate into our daily lives.

    My whole life runs on Dunkins. I am literally there every single day. Thankfully I have 3 of them within 2 miles of my house 🙂

    My husband and I are crazy about the Dunkin Donuts Bakery series. I always stock up on my favorite because my local grocery store can hardly keep it in stock. It seems everyone in my area loves my fave.

    I haven’t tried their Bakery Series yet. I was just imagining how good that Chocolate Glazed Donut flavor would taste. It must really be good! I’m heading over to get some of those tomorrow.

    I have let my work out routine slip over the holidays. I spend more energy telling my husband to pick up donuts from DD than from doing an actual workout, hahahaha.

    I can’t even function properly without my morning workout let alone do a full workout! I really like the taste of Dunkin DOnuts coffee but have never tried the brew at home kind.

    I love this post! DD is my favorite and i just learned about this bakery series from you so thank you! I’ll be trying it out asap! I’m doing the 21 day fix workout..best thing I ever did! I lost 7 lbs in 21 days! First workout that stuck for me! 👊🏻💪🏻

    My only routine right now is eating. I haven’t been to the gym in months and I lack the self motivation to do better. I’m going to try and force time in my day to get decent at home work out in.

    I don’t usually drink coffee. I prefer a good latte :). But I am always up for trying something new! I used to do kickboxing many years ago and loved it 🙂

    I’ve not long been competing in powerlifting so my workout routine is a 4 day a week routine focusing on each of the three big lifts and some accessory movements to help get stronger!

    Oh em gee, I’m glad to meet another Dunnkin Donut fan. I can’t get started without my coffee and they do coffee best. Y’all look so cute and you’re fit as a fiddle.
