Our morning routine occasionally changes but for the most part has stayed the same for a few months now. Half of the week begins very early at 530 am when I get up for kickboxing class. I am home a little after 7 and get Winston situated. Our littlest is usually the first to rise somewhere around 7-730 and I get her all set up with breakfast. Her current meal consists of blueberries, peanut butter toast sticks + oatmeal or yogurt. If the hubby is home, I will usually start getting ready for the day. I typically get ready in less than 20-25 minutes (including a shower), I am quick 😉
I don’t use very many beauty products but the ones I currently use are ones that I love. Here are some of the few:
- Schmidt’s Natural Deodorant // I switched over to this awhile ago and can honestly say it’s one of the best natural deodorants I have tried! I have the “Rose & Vanilla” scent!
- Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Regenerating Cream // I just started using this product about 1.5 weeks ago and I really love the way it leaves my skin feeling throughout the day. Plus, the smell is amazing! This regenerating cream is suitable for all skin types and is packed with hydrating ingredients. When compared with other retinol containing products, Neutrogena keeps your skin hydrated and soft! You can find out more on Neutrogena.com!
- It Cosmetics Hydrating Lip Treatment // Okay. This stuff is amazing. It’s a lip stain/balm/gloss and lipstick all in one! It basically brings out the natural blush color of your lips and it’s super hydrating. It’s basically like a super lip balm. I love it.
- Eyelash Curler // I don’t typically get ready with makeup daily, in fact maybe only 1-2 times per week but I do always have my eyelashes curled and my lip treatment on hand!
Well, that sums up my current favorite products! Back to the rest of the morning….
After I get myself together, we usually wake up the oldest 🙂 She likes to sleep in so I get her up around 8 am and get her ready for school! Once she’s dropped off, I will come back and get our 15 month old down for a nap around 10. Once she’s down, I get to work! She typically naps 2 hours so I can get a pretty good amount of work done, which is great!
That’s how our morning looks like with a 3 year old and a 15 month old right now! It’s flows pretty well most days and honestly, couldn’t ask for better!
