Back to School Must Haves

Today is the first day of school in our area (although Liv’s preschool starts next week) and I wanted to create a little list of back to school must haves for this year! I cannot even believe that Liv will be starting Kindergarten next year and I am teary eyed even thinking about it but I am also so excited for her to start a full day of school! I really think she will love having the structure and being with her friends every day! Right now she is in Pre-K and she has been at the same school now since age 2. She has learned SO much there and I highly recommend introducing your kids to a structured class-like routine if you can before they enter Pre-K! We only had her there two days a week for the first year and then last year increased it to three days. Olivia comes home telling us what she learned each day and loves going to see all her friends 🙂

Motherhood Lifestyle blogger, Lynzy & Co. talks about her favorite products for the back to school season this year!

Maia Ming Save-the-Whales Bank // These whales were inspired by the designers son who donated to the WWF to save the whales. Her company continues to donate to the WWF through proceeds earned from this business! I just love how cute these whales are and they are made with ceramic and a rubber coating finish. Teach your little ones how to save and then once they earn enough money, bring them out to get an ice cream or other special treat 😉

Get 2 whales for $35 (30% off) with code: WHALES2FOR$35 (until Sept. 30th)

Stuck on you // This brand has so many adorable items that you can personalize! My favorite product is the Bento boxes that you can personalize! These are so great for putting together kids lunches!

FJÄLLRÄVEN water resistant back pack // These are the back packs that we have for the girls! Olivia has this larger version for school and I love that they are water resistant too! They are pricey but it’s something she will use every day for years to come!

Chalk full of design Personalized 11×14 Trace-n-Erase™ Chalkboard // We just got a few of these and they are SO cool. You can buy all different kinds of these boards, ones that allow your kids to trace their own names, ones with shapes, and even ones with numbers!

Mini FJÄLLRÄVEN back pack // This is the mini version of the back pack above! This one is for Ellie and she looks so adorable with this mini back pack on her back 😉

Camp Castle Play Mat // This is a newer brand that is currently on Kick Starter that I discovered via Instagram. I just love how creative kids can get with these mats! Let their imagination soar!

Nature Anatomy Book // One of my favorite books to teach kids about nature’s anatomy! If you have kids staying at home until Kindergarten, this is a great way to teach them while at home 🙂

Farm Anatomy Book // same as above 🙂
