5 Minute Makeup for Moms

I truly despise getting ready and therefore I don’t spend much time doing it; hence this post on 5 minute makeup for moms just like me that want to look presentable but don’t want to spend 30 minutes doing it! If there is enough want for it, I will absolutely post a little video somewhere (IG stories or FB) on my actual routine and I will even use a stop watch for you! πŸ˜‰ Just let me know in the comments or via email if you want that I can make it happen. I don’t use that many products, in fact most days I don’t even go this in depth but I wanted to make sure I used everything that I would normally use for a date night within this post.

**I will also apologize and preface this post with the fact that I have NO idea what I am doing when it comes to makeup. I don’t have 25 different brushes for different applications and I just do it my own way, so feel free to take it, or leave it πŸ˜‰

Before and After 5 minute makeup routine! 5 minute makeup for moms who don't have the time for a full beauty routine!

Before & After – YIKES! πŸ™‚ The lighting was awful and the sun came out right before the second shot so it’s a bit brighter but iPhone images for the win! Ha!

Step 1 Face:

I take my amazing cosmetics concealer and I just dab a little onto my finger and create an upside down triangle underneath each eye. I then take my it cosmetics brush and my CC cream (best stuff EVER) and gently blend all throughout my entire face and neck.

I found the CC cream AND the brush on SALE for only $43 (for BOTH)

Normally it would be $80+ for both separately!

Step 2 Face:

I use my bare Minerals true all over face color (something I have been using for years) with my powder brush and gently brush all over.

Step 3: Eyes

I have very light eyebrows so I gently add a bit of color to them with this brow pencil here! Next up? A touch of brown eyeliner underneath the eyes and some liquid liner along the top!

I don’t always wear eyeshadow but when I do I use this natural eyes palette by Too Faced or the Chocolate bar palette (a new purchase)! For the Natural Eyes palette, I use the second row and apply it as the directions tell me πŸ˜‰    –> there’s a little “how-to” book that comes with it!

lastly, for the eyes, I use my eyelash curler (loving the new one I got here) and apply my favorite mascara –> it cosmetics superhero!

Step 4: Lips

I typically just throw on a little gloss but if I am feeling saucy, I really love this Buxon gloss that I just discovered! I love the color “Alexis”

I’ve been itching to try the CC cream. I’m not really a foundation girl, but I like something on my skin. I’ll have to try it!
